Key responsibilities and objectives:
•This role is part of the Global CoE and support the Canada SBU (Strategic Business Unit) and act as the lead Organizational Development subject matter expert to the leadership and senior management teams, HR VP, and the BU’s.
•Ensure alignment of OD strategies and initiatives throughout the organization, as well as cohesion with CGI values, mission and objectives to accelerate and optimize organizational performance.

•Provide thought leadership and the development of solutions to support the development and leadership of CGI.
•Provide subject matter knowledge to solutions that may include; HR programs related to talent development and succession planning, tools and information related to Organizational Development and specifically the culture and CGI member experience.
•Collaborate with CGI colleagues in the Centres of Expertise to develop and/or implement any updates or new components and where necessary, support the implementation and the execution ensuring accuracy at completion.
•Evaluate the (execution of the) processes and propose potential improvements.
•Identify and leverage best internal employees management practices, which are part of CGI’s Member Partnership Management Framework—MPMF (on-boarding, performance assessment, employee satisfaction assessment, career path, etc.) adapted to fit both Corporate and all business units needs and requirements across the SBU.
•Evaluate the execution of the processes and improvements where needed, and feasible.
• If required, collaborate with colleagues from the Integration CoE and contribute or support a merger, acquisition or outsourcing integration process.
•Lead and manage the Talent Management processes including the talent review process for senior management and succession planning and lead the development of the strategy for Leadership Development within the SBU.
•Develop collaborative relationships with key stakeholders to bring value and thought leadership to all stakeholders.
•Depth and breadth of HR knowledge and the application of this knowledge effectively in the development and deployment of HR programs, policies and systems.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
•Relevant Bachelor or Master Degree or equivalent degree and/or HR related certifications.
•Excellent English and French communications, and presentations skills.
•Experience in managing large and small scale change initiatives.
•7-10 years’ experience in a consulting and/or international organization holding senior level responsibility for a variety of Organizational Development and HR related topics.
•Broad experience in organizational development with specific focus in leadership and talent development, succession planning and change management.
•Able to think strategically, and act tactically, in a complex matrix environment.
• Excellent customer service orientation using a consultative approach.
•Strong business acumen and the ability to make decisions that have longer term and far reaching implications.
•Strong relationship building, influencing and negotiating skills; able to confidently deal with all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated superior project management skills.
• Ability to provide guidance and direction in developing all types of learning solutions (i.e. classroom, web-based) in accordance with sound design principles and business realities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects for multiple internal customers and stakeholders.
• Ability to engage in collaborative relationships with all team members, stakeholders, and internal customers.
•Experience using survey and assessment tools to identify business needs and measure effectiveness of solutions.
• Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint, MSWord, Excel and other MS suite of business applications.
